We can scan documents up to A3 size.
After scanning we can perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on the scanned images to produce searchable facsimiles of the originals. A facsimile retains the ‘look and feel’ of the original, but is easier to read and study, as damage and imperfections caused by age and wear is repaired.
We are currently processing a booklet produced during WWII by the New Zealand Army for its female personnel stationed in India.
On the right are scans of the front page of the booklet, a covering typewritten letter, and an example page.
The PDF facsimile of these three items, after OCR processing, is included on the far right.

Example of Slide Scanning
We scan all types and sizes of slides, not just 35 mm.
Our standard scan is performed at 2400 bpi producing results that can produce photo quality 8 inch (20 cm) prints from 35 mm originals.
If requested slides can be scanned using Digital ICE technology that will remove most scratches and general detritus that tends to accumulate on slides as the years pass.
